Smart Parents
Helping your children to find the right path

Workshops

Helping your children to find the right pathParenting is hard work. Many of us would like to think that being a good parent will come naturally so it can come as a huge shock when we find ourselves in conflict with a stubborn child refusing to dress for school, siblings threatening to tear each other limb from limb, or a furious adolescent intent on pushing all the boundaries!

Smart Parents Workshops are designed to inform and prepare parents for the different stages, enabling them to stay one step ahead of their offspring. Topics include:

  • Time For Bed (Common sleep problems)
  • Sibling Rivalry (Cause and effect)
  • What’s Yours Called? (Discussing sex with young children)
  • Parenting Styles
  • Effective Communication
  • Understanding Teenagers
  • Sex, Drugs & Rock ‘n’ Roll (The myths and the realities)

Workshops can be booked to run in your own home or other premises, pre-school, nursery etc. They are a great way of sharing information and support with other parents and gaining some useful tips and knowledge. Home-based evening workshops are particularly popular as they offer the opportunity for a relaxed and informal social gathering.
